AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle has been shamed again. This time, it has something to do with her engagement ring from husband Prince Harry.
The ring has been getting attention this summer after the Duchess of Sussex was spotted sporting an updated version of the ring. Royal expert Ingrid Seward appeared not to be thrilled with Meghan's decision, insinuating that that it seemed like Meghan did not understand the full importance of the ring.
"I find it a bit odd Meghan would want to alter a ring that her husband had especially designed for her," Seward said to Fabulous Digital. At the time of Harry and Meghan's engagement, Harry described his choices in detail to the press. He said he opted for "yellow gold because that's [Meghan's] favorite" with the main stone being sourced from Botswana. He also paid tribute to his late mother Princess Diana with the smaller diamonds on the ring, saying that it was "to make sure she's with us on this crazy journey together."

The royal couple confirmed the news on Thursday, June 27 on their joint Instagram account. It was said that they would be visiting the country of South Africa while Prince Harry was scheduled to make stops in Malawi and Angola.
"His Royal Highness will also do a short working visit to Botswana on route to the other countries," the account confirmed. "The Duke and Duchess are really looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the commonwealth and beyond. This will be their first official tour as a family!"
