AceShowbiz - Alice Cooper has clarified his recent comments that he has a "death pact" with his wife Sheryl Goddard.
The 71-year-old singer hit headlines when he told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper that he and his wife of 43 years had "made a pact (to) go out together" when one of their time comes.
However, the "School's Out" star has now set the record straight about his stance, telling USA Today: "We have a LIFE pact. We love life so much."
"What I said was that because we're almost always together, at home and on the road, that if something did happen to either of us, we'd most likely be together at the time. But neither of us has a suicide pact. We have a life pact."
The pair, who share three children, are also doing their best to maintain a sense of humour about the controversy, with Alice laughing: "Besides, I'm booked through 2028, so..."
