Having rejected plea offer from the Queens district attorney’s office over the 2018 incident, the 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker finds herself indicted by a grand jury for two felony charges among others.

AceShowbiz - Cardi B has been indicted by a grand jury in New York over a 2018 strip club brawl.

The rapper, real name Belcalis Almanzar, is accused of throwing bottles and chairs at two Angels Strip Club bartenders, named Jade and Baddie G after Cardi accused one of them of having sex with her rapper husband, Offset.

According to TMZ, the grand jury has indicted Cardi on 14 charges, including two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury.

Other charges include misdemeanour reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy and harassment.

The "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker previously rejected a plea offer from the Queens district attorney's office over the incident, and claimed the "spontaneous" brawl started because of a thrown drink.

According to Cardi's lawyers, she did not harm anybody at the club.

The rapper appeared in court to face the charges on 31 May. Her next court date is 9 August.
