Ashley confirms that she has been admitted to the hospital for a lupus flare-up and pyelonephritis after previous report falsely informed that it's 'Teen Mom 2' alum Jenelle Evans who has been hospitalized.

AceShowbiz - Ashley Martson is dealing with another episode of health issue amid drama with Jay Smith. The "90 Day Fiance" star was hospitalized on Wednesday, June 19 for a lupus flare-up and pyelonephritis, so she has confirmed.
"I am dealing with a lupus flare-up and pyelonephritis," the reality TV star tells E! News. "I also have a large cyst on my left ovary the surgeons are coming down to evaluate if they need to remove or not. They have started an IV of Levaquin and have me in morphine and Zofran."
The site earlier falsely reported that it's "Teen Mom 2" alum Jenelle Evans who was hospitalized, but the news has since been corrected. According to In Touch Weekly, Ashley will be released from the hospital in 24 hours.
Ashley was hospitalized in December 2018 due to similar complications. The chronic autoimmune disease causes the immune system to attack its own tissue, which can result in inflammation, pain and damage to the body.
In January of this year, she was admitted to the hospital again for acute kidney failure due to complications from lupus amid her split from Jay. She underwent a surgery to have a catheter placed in her abdomen and got dialysis in an attempt to avoid kidney transplant. Following her health issue, she called off her divorce from Jay at the time.
In April, however, Ashley filed for divorce from Jay for the second time after accusing her husband of cheating yet again. Earlier this month, she announced that she checked into a women's wellness retreat for her health and well-being.
"If you all could stop reporting I'm in rehab, that would be great," she posted on Instagram Stories to clarify reports which said that she went to rehab. She went on sharing, "I'm away for five days before cruising with my family," before temporarily shutting down her Instagram account.
