In a preview of his appearance on Facebook Watch's 'Red Table Talk', the 'Glory' hitmaker confesses to Jada Pinkett Smith about his readiness to settle down with the right partner.

AceShowbiz - Rapper/actor Common is keen to find himself a wife, following his high profile romances with R&B star Erykah Badu and tennis ace Serena Williams.

During an appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith's Facebook Watch show, "Red Table Talk", the "Glory" hitmaker revealed he's ready to settle down with the right partner.

In an exclusive clip for People.com, Jada refers to the music star's recently released book, "Let Love Have the Last Word: A Memoir", and says, "You said in the book also that you've accomplished everything but that you're not a husband."

Common, real name Lonnie Rashid Lynn, nods and replies, "Yeah... I would like to be a husband. Now I think I just want that partnership, to be able to experience life where I'm growing as a human being and it's fun too."

He then adds, "I know it's hard, also," as Jada - who is married to actor Will Smith - bursts into laughter.

His comments come after he revealed he sought counselling to deal with his relationship issues.

Common, who was most recently linked to political analyst Angela Rye, told People magazine in May, "Talking about my intimacy avoidance and love addiction was an 'aha' moment for me. The more you talk, the more you see the patterns you created for yourself.

"I'm open to a relationship now. I know how to communicate like an adult now. I want to be the best partner I can be."
