The '90 Day Fiance' star confirms she is heading into a mental wellness retreat as she wants to focus on 'my happiness and my future to better myself' amid marital issues with her estranged husband.

AceShowbiz - Ashley Martson's marital issues have seemingly taken its toll on her mental health. The "90 Day Fiance" star confirms she plans to check into inpatient treatment to put her well-being first amid her divorce from Jay Smith.

Confirming the news, Ashley tells Radar Online, "At this time, I'm focusing on my happiness and my future to better myself. I appreciate the support from TLC and the audience of '90 Day Fiance'." She, however, doesn't detail her issue that leads her to enter rehab.

As source tells the site that Ashley seeks treatment because she is "depressed." The 32-year-old reality TV star reportedly is going to enter "a mental wellness retreat for women in North Carolina" on Monday, June 17 and plans to stay there for two weeks. The source goes on dishing, "Her mother will watch her children."

Ashley's tumultuous relationship with Jay has been blamed for her depression. "Jay won’t leave her alone," the so-called insider claims. "He got a new apartment, but he keeps contacting her. He's been messing with her head." The source adds, "She's also been dealing with backlash from fans over social media."

Ashley, who got married to Jay in May 2018, first filed for divorce in January after he was caught talking to other women on a dating app. She, however, withdrew the paperwork days later following her hospitalization for acute kidney failure due to complications from lupus.

Ashley filed for divorce for the second time in April after she accused him of cheating on her again. Admitting that she was "devastated" at first, Ashley said she went with the decision because "I don’t think I ever got over it."

In May, Ashley admitted that she still loved Jay and leaving him was "the hardest thing" she ever did in her life, but she knew that they can't live together as a couple anymore. "The hardest thing I ever did in my life. I still love him," she answered a fan's question on Instagram, adding, "I just know it can't work. [Too] much damage has been done."
