AceShowbiz - The rumors are true! Following weeks of speculations, Yung Miami has finally confirmed that she's currently expecting her second child. The 25-year-old broke the pregnancy news through an emotional trailer for the Point Blank Period Part 2 documentary which she posted on Instagram on Tuesday, June 11.
The clip saw the City Girls member, whose real name is Caresha Brownlee, rising to success while holding it down as one half of the hip-hop duo while groupmate JT serves a prison sentence for fraud. Before the video concluded, Yung Miami could be heard telling Quality Control Music boss Pierre "Pee" Thomas about her pregnancy in an emotional phone call.
"I don't know what to do," she said while crying. Pee, meanwhile, assured her that things would work out in the end.
"I've been going back and forth to share this moment with my fans. But on MY TERMS!" so Yung Miami wrote in the caption. "I did everything they said I couldn't because that's just the type of woman I am and going to continue to be."
Later, the Florida rapper gushed over her pregnancy, dubbing it "a beautiful thing and life changing." Yung Miami added, "I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for the City Girls! And for the record JT has nothing to do with me being pregnant, she is so supportive and can't wait for our newest addition! This is my personal life and it is what it is! PERIOD."
Fans were both surprised and happy over the news. "Giiiiiirl you was working so hard and pregnant? You are the truth hunty," one fan said in the comment section. "I knew it sis when u said u wasn't drinking no more congratulations my babyyyyyyyyy I love you," one other added.
Fans were also so proud of the raptress for keeping working hard despite carrying a baby. "So proud of you. you really been working this hard thru a PREGNANCY. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! QUEEN. S**T!!" an excited fan commented, while another comment read, "Congrats We got your back baby, We rocking with you baby and all, Congratulations baby, WE LOVE YOU."
Following the announcement, she shared a photo of herself in a purple bikini bottom and a sheer peach robe, putting her baby bump on full display.
While Yung didn't reveal the identity of the baby's father, it had been reported that she's dating 808 Mafia Southside. The baby will join her firstborn Jai Wiggins Jr., whom she shares with Jai Wiggins. Yung Miami holds sole custody of her son as she allegedly obtained a long-term restraining order against her ex.
