Following Mary Duggar's passing on Sunday afternoon, June 9, several members of the conservative family took to their own Instagram accounts to share their touching tribute.

AceShowbiz - Duggar family is currently grieving following the sudden death of their matriarch Mary Duggar on Sunday afternoon, June 9. The conservative family announced her passing on their official Facebook page, but did not disclose her cause of death. She was 78.

According to the statement, Mary was survived by "her daughter Deanna and her son Jim Bob, 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, with several more great-grandchildren on the way!" They said, "She is greatly loved and will be missed so very much. She lived a tremendous life as a follower of Christ, a wife, a devoted mother, a loving mother-in-law, and a much-loved grandmother."

"Proverbs 31:10-31 describes the virtuous woman, indeed she personified these beautiful verses with her life," they added, before concluding, "We deeply appreciate your prayers for our family and all who loved Mary during this time."

Several members of the family also took to their own Instagram accounts to share personal tribute to the late star, with Jill Duggar expressing how heartbroken she was upon learning her grandmother's death. Describing Mary as a "feisty, incredible woman who always took the time to talk about Jesus with everyone she knew," Jill wrote, "I know she was ready to check outta here and get her new body in heaven before the old one started giving her too much trouble! We miss you so much!!"

Meanwhile, Anna Duggar attached several pictures of Mary in her tribute post, along with a message that read, "What an awesome woman of faith and such a loving example of God's love. She was a true soul-winner and loved everyone she met, telling them to turn from sin and trust Jesus for salvation! Miss her sooo much and we cherish each moment we were blessed to spend together! Lots of tears being shed here -- grateful for all the prayers!"

Joy-Anna as well as Lauren and Josiah Duggar also took to their Instagram accounts to post their tribute. Lauren and Josiah said Mary had left "quite an amazing legacy," while Joy-Anna Duggar called her grandmother a "strong woman, role model, godly counselor... and my favorite person to watch 'The Price Is Right' show with."

Mary, who worked as a real estate broker, frequently appeared alongside her family on both "19 Kids and Counting" and "Counting On".
