The 'Thank U, Next' hitmaker has collected the Fragrance of the Year: Women's Popular Award for her fifth perfume, Cloud, at the 2019 Fragrance Foundation Awards.

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande has landed the Fragrance of the Year: Women's Popular Award for her Cloud perfume at the 2019 Fragrance Foundation Awards.

The "Thank U, Next" hitmaker entered the perfume market in 2015 with debut scent ARI by Ariana Grande, and launched Cloud, her fifth fragrance, in September (18).

Housed in a cloud-shaped bottle, it is described as a "dreamy blend of alluring lavender blossom, forbidden juicy pear, and mouthwatering bergamot," while it is designed as an "uplifting scent that imbues a thoughtful, artistic expression of positivity and happiness," according to officials at her perfume partner Ulta Beauty.

On Wednesday, June 05, Cloud beat out the likes of Britney Spears' Prerogative, Kim Kardashian's KKW Body, Victoria's Secret's Tease Rebel, and Wild Spirit Fragrances' Driftwood Eau de Parfum.

Other big winners on the night included Tom Ford, who was inducted to the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame and won Fragrance of the Year: Women's Luxury for Lost Cherry, perfumer Dominique Ropion, who received the Lifetime Achievement prize, and Marc Jacobs, who took home honours for Social Media Campaign of the Year and Consumer Choice: Women's Prestige, both for Marc Jacobs Daisy Love.
