AceShowbiz - Celebrated concert pianist Lang Lang has married Gina Alice Redlinger in a lavish ceremony in Paris.

The Chinese classical pianist announced the news on his official Weibo account on Sunday, June 02, adding several images from the nuptials which were held at the Palace of Versailles in Paris, France.

"I found my Alice. She is Gina Alice," wrote Lang, 36, along with a collage of the newlyweds' stunning wedding photos, in which Redlinger, 24, is pictured wearing a white gown, before changing into a traditional Chinese cheongsam for the evening.

According to editors at Asia One, German-Korean Redlinger is a graduate of one of Germany's most prestigious academies of music, the Hochschule fur Musik und Theater Hamburg in Berlin. The couple reportedly became engaged in October 2018.

The wedding was attended by 300 guests including singer-songwriter Jay Chou and his wife Hannah Quinlivan, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Bianca Jagger and British royals Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Guests were treated to a Bach recital by the newlyweds, a seven-course meal, and an eight foot tall wedding cake accompanied by two Dom Perignon vintages, reported Page Six. Later, fireworks were set off with a view of the palace's famed Hall of Mirrors.

The musician, the first Chinese pianist to be engaged by the Vienna Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic and all major American orchestras, played at the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize ceremony for U.S. President Barack Obama, and performed Pharrell Williams's hit song "Happy" at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
