Words are the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actor and the Russian supermodel's relationship 'is hanging by a thread,' months after a rumored romance with his 'A Star Is Born' co-star Lady GaGa.

AceShowbiz - Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk are reportedly on the verge of breaking up. The couple, who is parents to 2-year-old daughter Lea De Seine, is not happy together, but still trying to maintain their relationship for the sake of their kid, according to a report.

"Because of their daughter, they keep trying," a source tells Page Six of the pair. "Things are not good. Neither one is happy. The relationship is hanging by a thread," the source goes on dishing, without detailing the roots of their problem.

This isn't the first time Bradley and Irina were hit with split rumors. Back in October, a source told the same site, "They are miserable together. They have been for months. He doesn't drink and is into spirituality. She wants to go out." The source added, "They couldn't break up when he was doing promotion for 'A Star Is Born', but who knows what will happen now?"

An eyewitness also saw them at dinner and claimed, "They were not looking happy ... They barely spoke to each other at the start of the meal." However, a source close to the couple at the time insisted it was all "not true."

Later in May of this year, MTO News reported that the 44-year-old actor/director and the 33-year-old Russian supermodel had called it quits. A source said that they "aren't together anymore" and "an announcement of their split may or may not be imminent."

As for the reason why they allegedly split, the source explained, "Bradley has always wanted to keep his personal life private, while Irina thinks there ought to be a media release." Meanwhile, Irina has "also been posing more provocatively in Instagram photos lately, and most recently attended the MET Gala alone (Bradley was supposed to attend)."

The latest split rumor comes months after Bradley was rumored to have developed a romantic feeling with his "A Star Is Born" co-star Lady GaGa. It was fueled by their intimate duet at the 2019 Academy Awards in February.

Addressing the speculation, the "Bad Romance" hitmaker said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", "First of all, social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet and what it's done to pop culture is abysmal." She added, "People saw love and, guess what, that's what we wanted to you to see. This is a love song. The movie, 'A Star Is Born', it's a love story."

"From a performance perspective, it was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time," she went on explaining. "When you're singing love songs, that's how you want people to feel." Insisting it was just acting, the 33-year-old singer/actress said, "I guess we did a good job. Fooled ya!"
