The newly-engaged couple announces their engagement on Instagram, with Raven gushing, 'I'm keeping you forever and for always,' while posting several photos from the moment.

AceShowbiz - Congratulations! Bachelor Nation is currently celebrating a new "Bachelor in Paradise" engaged couple after Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk announced their engagement on Sunday, June 2 on Instagram.

"I'm keeping you forever and for always/ We will be together all of our days / Wanna wake up every morning to your sweet face... Always," so Raven wrote on her account alongside a series of black-and-white photos of the rooftop proposal. The TV star, who flaunted her new rock on her ring finger, dated the sweet moment May 31.

Adam also shared some other photos on his own Instagram account. One photo saw the couple locking lips with a beautiful view in the background. Another photo featured the moment when he was on his knee with a ring in his hand. The newly engaged could also be seen dancing during the magical moment.

"5.31.19 #Engaged," Adam simply captioned the post.

Adam talked about his preparation for the proposal to E! News, saying, "We started out the day Friday having a photo shoot for her online boutique in Dallas. We were taking photos for her store and then we got to the rooftop of the W to keep shooting. She thought it was a normal shoot day." He went on adding, "We were at the helicopter pad on the roof and Raven had roses in her hand. She was throwing the petals up for cute photos."

"She did a few practice runs and then the videographer slipped me the ring and once she threw the petals up, I got down on one knee. I blacked out, but I got everything out that I wanted. I legitimately broke down and cried," he recalled. "It took me 30 seconds to pull it together. After I saw the video that the videographer made, I was sobbing for hours."

Adam explained that he coordinated the big moment so that both of their families and friends could be in Dallas, adding that they had dinner afterwards. "After dinner we came home and there were pictures of us leading up the staircase of our house and roses for us. It was nice to disconnect for a few days and enjoy the engagement to ourselves," he shared.

Fans of ABC's dating show franchise may remember Raven as one of the competitors in Nick Viall's "The Bachelor" season. Meanwhile, Adam appeared on Rachel Lindsay's season of "The Bachelorette" the same year. The two then met on "Bachelor in Paradise" before hitting it off.

Previously, Raven revealed that she asked her friend Lindsay for her approval to date Adam. "I asked Rachel before 'Paradise', she's like, 'Don't mess with my top three.' I said, 'OK, I can do that. I'm your girl, that's fine,' " she shared after the "Bachelor in Paradise" season four finale taping. "I said, 'Who from your season would I click with?' and she said Adam!"

"I swear to you that she said Adam, and she was so right," she gushed. "She was so right!" Adam added, "Stamped and approved!"

Raven seems to be head over heels with Adam. In one interview, she praised him for being "so sweet to all my girlfriends, and the way men treat other women is how they're going to treat you, and how they treat their mother." She continued gushing, "Adam is so sweet to every woman he comes in contact with. I just love that about him."

Adam also feels the same, explaining that Raven's passion was what that he loved the most about her now-fiancee. "People may see her as the Southern girl who's so reserved and quiet, but she's really, really smart and she knows how to get herself out of issues very easily," he said. "I think that's attractive to have someone who's passionate, but also just empowering in her own way of business."
