AceShowbiz - Is Nicki Minaj no longer best friends with Rah Ali? That's what fans have been speculating when they notice that both the "Bang Bang" female emcee and the "Love & Hip Hop: New York" star stop following each other on Instagram, sparking speculation that they might be feuding.
Many find this development strange, considering that Nicki is said to be offering support for Rah after the latter's daughter passed away after being born prematurely. Previous report suggested that the Young Money rapper tried to do everything she could to ease her pain, including checking on her and attempting to "lift her spirit."
Nicki and Rah have yet to address their latest social media activity. Both of them have yet to post anything new on their Instagram accounts. The self-proclaimed black Barbie's latest Instagram post was a picture of her promoting her new song with Chris Brown and G-Eazy, while Rah was advertising a fashion brand in her latest post.
The two women became friends after meeting several years ago, exchanging comments on Instagram as well as liking each other's posts. Since then, Rah has been loyal to the "Anaconda" hitmaker, taking her side when Nicki had a beef with Remy Ma as well as punching Cardi B on her behalf when the superstars got into a fight during Harper's Bazaar party last year.
"Rah held her head and punched her like eight, nine times, and I could hear it, I'm talking like the hardest punch you've ever heard in your life," Nicki recalled the brawl during an episode of her "Queen Radio" show. "Rah really, really beat Cardi's a** bad. Rah beat you so bad. I was mad at Rah. You went home and told people security hit you, and we let that ride for legal reason."
