Marking the last appearance of Stallone as the titular character, the fifth 'Rambo' movie will see him coming out of his retirement and drawing the 'last blood.'

AceShowbiz - Lionsgate has released the first teaser trailer for "Rambo: Last Blood", bringing the end of the franchise closer than ever. Following Sylvester Stallone's iconic character, the video is narrated by John Rambo, who seems to have been enjoying an idyllic life on a family ranch in Arizona.

"I've lived in a world of death. I've watched people I've loved dying, some fast with a bullet, some not enough left to bury," he says in the sneak peek. "All these years I've kept my secret, but the time has come to face my past. And if it comes looking for me, they will welcome death."

Rambo's peaceful life is disrupted and he must come out of his retirement when the daughter (Yvette Monreal) of a close friend (Adriana Barraza) is kidnapped by a vicious Mexican drug cartel. He ventures south of the border on a rescue mission, but trouble follows him home.

Armed with knife, gun and bow, he faces up against the bad guys who storm into his house. He is also seen transforming his house into one big death trap a la Kevin McAllister in "Home Alone" to welcome the unwanted guests.

The official plot description reads, "Almost four decades after he drew first blood, Sylvester Stallone is back as one of the greatest action heroes of all time, John Rambo. Now, Rambo must confront his past and unearth his ruthless combat skills to exact revenge in a final mission. A deadly journey of vengeance, 'Rambo: Last Blood' marks the last chapter of the legendary series."

Also starring in the movie are Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Genie Kim a.k.a. Yenah Han, Joaquin Cosio and Oscar Jaenada. It is directed by Adrian Grunberg, with Stallone writing the script along with Matthew Cirulnick. The action film is set to bow in the U.S. on September 20.
