The Jonas Brothers member says his shotgun wedding in Las Vegas was supposed to be a secret, but the 'Close to Me' DJ live-streamed the whole ceremony on Instagram.

AceShowbiz - When Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner said "I do" in Las Vegas last month, they didn't intend to share it with the world. Stopping by the London radio show "Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp" on Wednesday, May 29, the 29-year-old singer said the shotgun wedding was supposed to be a secret, but one of their few guests, Diplo, "ruined it."

The DJ live-streamed the whole ceremony on Instagram. "He did ruin it," Joe jokingly said of Diplo's stunt. He quickly added, "I love Diplo, but he loves his 'gram more than a 13-year-old. He posts every five seconds. He literally, like, live-streamed with dog face filters."

Despite Diplo making public of their wedding, Joe and Sophie clearly had no hard feelings toward the Major Lazer member. "We just laughed. We loved it. We thought it was ridiculous," the "Cake by the Ocean" hitmaker went on sharing. "I just love that he was walking into the chapel and he's like, 'Gonna hit this wedding right quick.' "

Joe and Sophie exchanged vows in a Las Vegas chapel on May 1 after attending the Billboard Music Awards. An Elvis Presley impersonator officiated the wedding, with Nick Jonas' wife Priyanka Chopra serving as the bridesmaid and flower girl. Diplo was among the guests along with Khalid, while country duo Dan + Shay performed "Speechless".

The newlyweds are still going to throw a bigger wedding celebration, which is planned for summer. "We're getting married this year. We're going to have a summer wedding," the Jonas Brothers member said on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in March. "I'm looking forward to it, it's going to be a lot of fun."

Instead of a romantic one, Joe hinted that the celebration is going to be competitive with some sports events. "We're going to have a flag rugby game at the wedding, and a flag football game. So if all the groomsmen show up with black eyes and broken arms, I'll be very proud," he revealed.
