The birthday girl jokes with the audience at her group's third reunion date in Manchester, England about their past technical issues, before warning Geri Halliwell not to quit on them again.

AceShowbiz - Birthday girl Mel B (Melanie Brown) poked fun at the Spice Girls' past technical issues at the group's third reunion date in Manchester, England on Wednesday night (May 29).

Fans who attended the Wannabe band's concerts in Dublin, Ireland and Cardiff, Wales slammed engineers for the poor sound on Friday and Monday, and Mel B was hoping her 44th birthday gift would be a trouble-free night at Etihad Stadium.

A fan was satisfied with their performance that night.

Joking with the audience, Scary Spice asked, "Can you hear all right at the back?".

She got her wish and fans were glad the sound problems had been sorted, with one concertgoer tweeting: "Absolutely smashed it tonight no sound issues at all, they sounded incredible and it was an amazing show! Wish I could go again! Loved every second!".

Scary Spice also had a dig at bandmate Geri Horner, who quit the band on Mel B's birthday exactly 21 years ago, stating, "You better not leave tonight you f***ing b**ch."

Horner, then Geri Halliwell, walked out on the group in 1998, citing depression and creative differences.

The Spice Girls have another 10 U.K. dates on their ongoing reunion tour.
