The 39-year-old former NBA player reveals that the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star has responded to his headlines-making book 'Darkness to Light' by sending him a text.

AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom's new memoir "Darkness to Light" has been garnering attention as it features him spilling juicy details of his past marriage to Khloe Kardashian. Now, the 39-year-old former NBA player reveals that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has responded to his book by sending him a text.
"She sent me a text yesterday," Lamar said of Khloe during his appearance on "The Jenny McCarthy Show" on Wednesday, May 29. According to him, Khloe texted him to talk about one of the stories he wrote in the book.
"She talked about one of the stories that I told in the book about her coming to the hotel and putting her hands on a girl," Lamar went on explaining. "She said that she didn't even think that I remembered that story."
The former Los Angeles Laker didn't detail what the 34-year-old reality TV star wrote to him, though he said that it was a "friendly" text.
In his new memoir, Lamar claimed that Khloe "beat the s**t out of" his side chick at a hotel. He confessed to booking a room at the luxurious hotel, where he indulged in cocaine, marijuana and a bunch of "naked girls." The party soon took a left turn when Khloe, her mom Kris Jenner and their security guards allegedly "bulldozed" into the room after getting a key from one of the hotel staff.
Soon after she spotted one girl in the room, she reportedly landed her punches on the stripper. Lamar said, "Khloe's beating the s**t out of one of the girls who tried to protest. She's dropping vicious blows all over the top of this girl's head." While the fight was happening, the momager was said to be "screaming" as security guards attempted to pull the "Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian" host off the side chick.
In the end, Khloe told him to pack his things as the security team removed "all traces of drugs" from the hotel room.
Previous report stated that Khloe has yet to read the memoir herself, although the book continues to make headlines. "She is so busy with her daughter, [True]," a source said. "She wishes Lamar only the best."
Khloe and Lamar got married in September 2009 before the former filed for divorce from the basketball player in December 2013 after four years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in December 2016.
