During a press junket at 2019 Cannes Film Festival, the 'Creed II' actor also talks about 'Rambo V: Last Blood', claiming that fans can expect 'some serious vengeance' in the new action movie.

AceShowbiz - Sylvester Stallone has teased fans about a potential sequel to his 1986 movie "Cobra" during an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.

The 72-year-old was celebrated during a day in his honour on Friday (May 24), ahead of the premiere of "Rambo V: Last Blood", and during a junket at the fabled Hotel du Cap, Stallone admitted he thinks "Cobra" should have been a film franchise too.

"That was rock 'n' roll meets drama," Stallone admitted. "That should have been another franchise because that character was so cool. And I blew it. My personal life got in the way," Stallone admitted.

"But we're trying to bring it back as a streaming TV series. Bring out the zombie squad. I'm long gone, but the idea is really good."

Commenting on his latest film, "Rambo V: Last Blood", Stallone said fans can expect "some serious vengeance" in the action movie.

Explaining the plot, Stallone told one Deadline reporter, "In every film, Rambo never goes home, he goes out the to the jungle or Afghanistan. In the new one, he does come home, but in a way he never arrives. He's there, but he's not. That's what the whole story is built around. As soon as he walks outside his door, he has no more control. The world controls you."

In the film, Stallone's John Rambo takes on the role of surrogate father to his housekeeper's granddaughter, but when the girl finds her real dad in Mexico, she decides to go and visit him.

"Bad things happen," Stallone teased. "There's going to be some serious vengeance in this movie. A lot of people getting hurt."
