During an appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', the 'Sully' star recounts the time he came to the Stagecoach festival in support of his wife, Rita Wilson, and got denied 'a nice tasty bucket of suds.'

AceShowbiz - Tom Hanks offered up "Toy Story 4" premiere tickets for beer at the Stagecoach festival when barmaids refused to serve him because he didn't have the right wristband.

The movie star was at the weekend country festival supporting his wife, Rita Wilson, who was among the performers, when he decided he wanted "a nice tasty bucket of suds" - so he hit one of the on-site bars.

"There were four ladies... and I said, 'Pull me a draw'," the Oscar winner told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, "and they said, 'We can't, because your ID has not been verified...' I said, 'What, you think I'm underage...? I'm 62 years old and you know my name, so I think I should be able to get a beer'."

But the women stood firm and told Tom he had to get the correct wristband.

"It was ridiculous, but I must give credit to these ladies - they did not cave. I was offering them tickets to stuff. I said, 'You will come to the 'Toy Story' premiere with me...!' They would not allow it... I argued with them for 20 minutes."

The ladies eventually walkie-talkied a colleague and he showed up with a "roll of red tape".

"He gave me a bracelet and then I chugged me a brewski," Hanks laughed.
