The 51-year-old troubled comedian was recently arrested and taken into custody at Essex County Correctional Facility in New Jersey for violating his drug probation.

AceShowbiz - Artie Lange was recently arrested at Freedom House, a halfway home that provides addiction services, for violating his drug probation and was taken into custody at Essex County Correctional Facility in New Jersey. While this wasn't really shocking for a lot of people, what made them freak out the most was the fact that the troubled star's nose appeared to be completely flattered in his mugshot.
The new mugshot, which was released following his arrest, featured Lange looking straight at the camera in a black shirt. While he looked completely normal in one photo, his flatter nose was very noticeable in an image of his side profile. "What happened to Artie Lange's nose?" one asked, while another expressed his/her disbelief, "I still can't believe Artie Lange's nose."
"How that happen to his nose tho for real? I saw his last mugshot and it wasn't that bad. That can't just be from drugs can it?" someone else wondered as one individual quipped, "Anyone nose the details of what happened?" There was also one who joked, "This man's face is 2D," while another wanted to know "how does he breathe when he's sleeping."
Lange was arrested after he was "non-compliant" with his probation agreement. "It is our understanding that with all these individuals that go through this process with drug court... they give you a long list of instructions and you have to comply to the law of these instructions," an officer stated. "He failed to comply with some of those instructions. So as of right now, he has to be called for a reevaluation."
Lange, who is Howard Stern's ex-side kick, has always been vocals about his struggles with substance abuse. In late last year, he got candid about using cocaine shortly after leaving rehab. "I'm a bad addict," he said at the time. "I had to see if I could get high. It was awful."
