Prince Charles, who was on an official visit to Berlin, Germany when the baby was born on May 6, visits the 10-day-old baby in Windsor after attending official engagements.

AceShowbiz - Prince Charles had met his new grandson Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor earlier on Thursday, May 16. The Duke of Cornwall visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 10-day-old baby in Windsor after attending official engagements earlier in the day.

His visit arrives just two days after Prince William and Kate Middleton met their nephew on May 14 in a reportedly private gathering. A palace representative revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to new parents Meghan and Prince Harry at their Frogmore Cottage home.

Prince Charles was on an official visit to Berlin, Germany when the baby was born on May 6. However, that didn't stop Prince Charles from expressing his happiness in welcoming his fourth granchild who joins William and Kates' three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. "We couldn't be more delighted at the news and we're looking forward to meeting the baby when we return," Prince Charles said.

Prince Charles' wife Duchess Camilla also couldn't hide her excitement for Archie. The couple was abroad when the first photos of the baby were released online, and The Sun photographer Arthur Edwards showed Camilla a photo of Archie. In response, the Duchess called it "lovely" before jokingly adding, "Show it to the boss," while referring to Prince Charles.

Prior to this, Archie met his great-grandparents Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. The moment was documented in a historical royal photo which also featured Meghan's mom Doria Ragland.

Archie, who is seventh in line to the throne, was first debuted on Wednesday when his parents introduced him to the world in a photo call prior to meeting the Queen and Prince Philip. "It's magic, it's pretty amazing, I have the two best guys in the world so I'm really happy," Meghan excitedly told the media last week. The Duchess of Sussex also added that her son "had the sweetest temperament, he's really calm. It's been a special couple of days."
