With the support of Laurence Fishburne, Halle Berry and his other 'John Wick: Chapter 3' co-stars, 'The Matrix' actor expresses his gratitude 'to be invited to this remarkable, historical, magical place'.

AceShowbiz - Keanu Reeves added his hand and footprints into the pavement outside the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday, May 14.

Just ahead of the release of his third "John Wick" movie, the actor shut down Hollywood Boulevard as fans gathered to salute him.

"It is a great honour to be here and to be invited to this remarkable, historical, magical place," Reeves told the crowd. "To be included amongst all of the incredible artists who have made their mark here over the past 92 years, to be a part of this Hollywood tradition started by Sid Grauman all those years ago and which continues to this day, I thank you. Thank you very much."

Reeves added, "I have been a part of some films that have been embraced, and I am very grateful. They have changed my life. They have given me life. They have provided life. And I'm very grateful to the people who have enjoyed these films. Without your support, I am not standing here."

Keanu's "The Matrix" and "John Wick" co-star Laurence Fishburne was among the people there to applaud the actor on his big day.

He called his pal "one of the smartest and most intelligent men that I have every met," adding, "He is a deeply sensitive and thoughtful person, and he is also a courageous and passionate artist."

Keanu's "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" co-stars Halle Berry, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick and Asia Kate Dillon also attended the hand and footprint ceremony.
