The Why Don't We member made use of Mother's Day to announce the baby news to his Instagram followers, along with a couple of pictures of the couple with their baby daughter and families.
He began his lengthy post by gushing over his social media star girlfriend, calling her "the most selfless I have ever met in my life." The singer continued, "She is the one that keeps me going and makes me work harder for my dreams every single day. I am so blessed to be able to call her the mother of our child and the woman I get to come home to every night."
Jack went on wishing his own mother, as well as Gabriela's mother, a happy Mother's Day before turning the focus on his girlfriend once again. "My love, you are the mother of our child and there is no one else in this world that I would want to be with," he said. "You are my other half, and I'm so lucky to call you mine. I love you forever. One photo showed Jack holding Lavender as Gabriela gave her a kiss on the cheek, while another photo saw the adorable girl lying on a bed as she rocked a white ribbon on her head. In the caption of the post, Gabriela shared details of Lavender's birth.
"The gift of Life. What a beautiful gift God so graciously has given us. On April 22, 2019 we got to finally meet our new best friend ...And new we got to introduce her to you!" she said. "I'm so thankful for all the love and support surrounding her. I am so excited that I get to share all of our little milestones with you! Our Little Earth Day baby..ready to save the earth."
