AceShowbiz - Chris Brown is reportedly working on a settlement with his former manager.
Back in 2016, Mike 'G' Guirguis sued the "With You" hitmaker, and accused him of false imprisonment, assault, battery, defamation, and breach of contract.
He claimed Brown attacked him in early 2016, and required him to seek hospital treatment. The troubled singer then took to social media and accused Guirguis of stealing money, which the manager denied.
The case has been rumbling on in court for years, but the lawsuit is now moving forward.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Brown and Guirguis recently asked the judge to postpone the trial, which was scheduled to start on 5 June, so they can work out a deal to end their battle in the next couple of months.
The judge has now ordered the trial to now begin on 11 October.
