Aside from the 'Roar' hitmaker, the Duke of Cambridge will also record a 60-second radio message about mental health awareness with Stephen Fry, Jameela Jamil and Alesha Dixon.

AceShowbiz - The Duke of Cambridge has teamed up with stars like Katy Perry to mark the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Week 2019.

Prince William will voice a 60 second message to be broadcast simultaneously across hundreds of U.K. radio stations at 10.59am on Monday, May 13 - better known as the Mental Health Minute.

The father of three will be joined by pop star Katy Perry, actor and writer Stephen Fry, "The Good Place" actress Jameela Jamil, and British singer Alesha Dixon. The five famous faces have come together to talk about the value of listening and the positive role it can play in regards to mental health.

Their message will emphasise the importance of talking about mental health and how listening cannot be underestimated.

Led by bosses at industry body Radiocentre, working with charity chiefs at Heads Together, the mental health campaign was spearheaded by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The Mental Health Minute campaign made history in 2018, broadcasting to one of radio's biggest ever collective audiences with stations from across the BBC and commercial radio uniting to carry the message.

Last year's broadcast, which Prince William also voiced, tackled the stigma of talking about mental health, and featured actors Dame Judi Dench and David Harewood, as well as Lady GaGa.
