AceShowbiz - Nipsey Hussle's team denies the late rapper's association with alleged shooter Eric Holder, after a video surfaced showing the hip-hop star allegedly hugging Eric. The circulating video, which hit the web several days ago, shows Nipsey allegedly hugging his future killer outside of his Marathon Clothing store, six months before the murder.
But now someone from Nipsey's camp has disputed the claim. According to XXL, the source close to the slain rapper says the man whom Nipsey was hugging in the video was not Eric, but someone else. "Nipsey is embracing Flacco, who is NOT Eric Holder," the source clarifies.
The source also denies claim that Eric was once signed to Nipsey's All Money In label. Veteran rapper B.G. Knocc Out earlier said in an interview with DJ Vlad that Eric was a part of his label and also appeared in several music videos from the early days of Nip's career. Shutting down the report, the source says the only members of Nipsey's All Money In label are Cuzzy, Jstone, Cobby, BH, PacMan and Killa Twan, and Eric was never among that group.
Nipsey was shot multiple times in the parking lot of his clothing store in South Los Angeles on March 31. He was hit five times in the torso and once in the head. Nipsey was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Two other victims, who were with Nipsey at the time of the shooting, were also wounded but survived.
Two days later, on April 2, Eric was arrested and charged with one count of murder, two of attempted murder, and one of possession of a firearm by a felon. Investigators believe Eric was known to the rapper and that the shooting was possibly motivated by a personal matter.
Nipsey was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Southern California after a memorial service on April 12. He was survived by girlfriend Lauren London, their son, and his daughter Emani from a previous relationship with Tanisha.
