AceShowbiz - "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth is teaming up with Tiffany Haddish for an unlikely buddy cop movie.
"Down Under Cover" will be introduced at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival in France by bosses at CAA and FilmNation - the same team that masterminded international distribution deals for Jessica Chastain's all-woman spy thriller 355 at the event last year (18).
Hemsworth will play a detective intent on cracking a casino heist surrounding a troupe of Australian male erotic dancers while Haddish will play his no-nonsense partner, according to Deadline.
It's not Hemsworth's first comedy - he previously appeared in the "Ghostbusters (2016)" remake.
