While Jenelle is shocked, 'Teen Mom' star Amber Portwood reveals that she is not surprised by MTV's decision, saying, 'Honestly I knew this was coming eventually.'

AceShowbiz - MTV recently announced that Jenelle Evans had been fired from "Teen Mom 2" in the wake of her husband David Eason killing her family dog. It appeared that the firing was also news for Jenelle, who was reportedly blindsided by the network's announcement on Tuesday, May 7.

"She is focusing on what's best for her and kids. MTV made the statement before letting her know," a source close to the TV star said to E! News. It was also said that Jenelle "was crying when she found out about being fired."

However, fans can expect to see her fighting to save her job. "This isn't the last you're going to hear from Jenelle. She [isn't] going to stop," the source continued.

Following the firing announcement, a slew of "Teen Mom 2" stars took to social media to share their reactions. Leah Messer, wrote, "ANYONE that condones/contributes/doesn’t PREVENT or STOP animal cruelty or the murder of an innocent animals life is SICK & I REFUSE to be affiliated with! I want to sympathize for my former cast mate but at this point I can’t. ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!"

Meanwhile, Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus kept her reaction minimum. Kailyn simply shared the link to MTV's news of Jenelle's firing with a shocked emoji. Briana simply tweeted, "Wow."

As for "Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood, she revealed that she saw it coming. "Honestly I knew this was coming eventually," she told HollywoodLife.com. "It's a horrible situation she is going through."

Of David's horrible act of killing Jenelle's French bulldog Nugget, the 28-year-old said, "This is not acceptable. I'm just fine with the decision that was made on MTV's behalf." When asked about whether she thought Jenelle would stay with David or not following the controversy, Amber responded, "Honestly, I don't know but I hope not." She added, "It's just a horrible situation that no one could have foreseen."

MTV released a statement that Jenelle had been fired from the reality TV show on Tuesday. "MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of 'Teen Mom 2' with him since," a spokesperson for the network said. "Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season."

MTV executives allegedly told Jenelle's manager that David shooting Nugget to death was the last straw. They reportedly feared he was out of control and wanted no part in what they saw as a looming disaster.
