AceShowbiz - Jungkook of BTS (Bangtan Boys) is truly one lucky fan. As his group is currently on the road for the North American leg of their world tour "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself", he made the time to attend Ariana Grande's "Sweetener" show at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday night, May 6. What's more, he got the chance to meet the petite singer backstage.
The youngest member of BTS shared his experience on the group's official Twitter account, along with a photo of himself holding a commemorative dollar bill from the show. "I felt and learned a lot after seeing her stage. I am really challenged by her stage and will try harder!" he wrote on the blue bird app.
Ariana later followed it up with a picture of them backstage at her show. In the image, which she shared on Instagram, the two of them threw up a peace sign as the songstress made a duck face. "Screaming [black heart emoji] thank u sooooo much for coming to my show, Jungkook. It mean so much. Love u sm," she captioned the snap. Ariana even made the picture her phone's lockscreen.
It didn't take too long for fans to go wild over their interaction. One couldn't even contain her/his excitement as s/he wrote in all caps, "I'M SOBBING REALLY HARD. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS INTERACTION TO HAPPEN ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT I ACTUALLY WASN'T REALLY PREPARED FOR IT!!! MY JUNGKOOK AND ARIANA IN ONE PICTURE!!! MY HEART IS SO FULL!!" Meanwhile, another simply said, "I'm legit screaming," as other one echoed, "Me screaming right now."
Some other fans begged the two musicians to do a collaboration after seeing the photo as one pleaded, "I hope we can see you two collab omg that would be great." Another individual begged, "You know we need this collab."
