Hennepin County Attorney's Office closes the case against the B2K singer, who was held without bail following a heated dispute with his girlfriend, due to a lack of evidence.

AceShowbiz - B2K singer Raz B will not face prosecution for allegations of domestic violence due to a lack of evidence.

The "Bump, Bump, Bump" star, real name De'Mario Monte Thornton, was arrested by police in Minneapolis, Minnesota early on Wednesday, May 01, and held without bail.

The 33-year-old was accused of domestic assault by strangulation following a heated dispute with a woman believed to be his girlfriend, whose alleged injuries were photographed by responding officers.

An investigation into the incident was launched, but a spokesperson for the Hennepin County Attorney's Office has since revealed no charges will be brought against Raz B, reports TMZ.

They have closed the case and he was released from custody on Friday.

Raz B's arrest occurred hours before he was due to hit the stage at the Target Center in Minneapolis with his bandmates Omarion, J-Boog, and Lil' Fizz.

The show went on as planned without the singer, but he is expected to rejoin the reunited B2K for the remainder of dates on "The Millennium Tour", which kicked off in early March (2018) and is scheduled to run until the end of May.

Raz B is no stranger to drama - he briefly quit the group just days into the comeback trek after voicing concerns about his personal safety.
