The 'Wake Me Up' rapper, who is booked for misdemeanour assault, has been accused by the 'Love & Hip Hop: New York' star of punching her in the eye backstage at the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert.

AceShowbiz - Remy Ma has surrendered to police officials in New York to contest a battery charge from reality TV star Brittney Taylor.
"Love & Hip Hop: New York" star claimed Remy punched her in the eye backstage at the "Pretty Lou Benefit Concert" at Irving Plaza on 16 April, and last week she asked venue bosses to keep surveillance footage of the incident as she plotted to sue the rapper.
She filed legal documents requesting the preservation of footage from the night she was reportedly attacked, and also asked police officials to look after video, photographs, and investigative reports linked to the incident.
TMZ sources claim Remy and Taylor fell out backstage. Brittney was hospitalised and filed a police report.
The rapper was booked for misdemeanour assault after showing up a police station with her lawyer on Wednesday, May 01.
