Trailing behind the 'Deadpool' star in the actor list are Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Robert Downey Jr., while the leading lady of 'A Quiet Place' dominates the actress list, outshining Gal Gadot.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds and Emily Blunt have emerged as the highest-paid stars in Hollywood in a new Variety report.

According to the outlet, Reynolds is picking up a $27 million (£20.7 million) salary for Michael Bay's new Netflix film "6 Underground", while Brit Blunt is the highest-paid actress after landing a $13 million (£9.9 million) paycheque for her role in "A Quiet Place 2".

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson follows Reynolds on the actors list after scoring $20 million (£15.3 million) for "Fast and Furious" spin-off "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw", while "Iron Man" Robert Downey Jr., Will Smith, and Jason Statham complete the top five.

Gal Gadot is the second highest-paid actress behind Blunt, thanks to the $10 million (£7.6 million) she'll take home for "Wonder Woman 1984", while Margot Robbie and Kristen Stewart also make the top four.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, who usually figure quite close to the top of the annual list, both took big pay cuts to appear alongside each other in Quentin Tarantino's much-anticipated "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood".
