AceShowbiz - It appears the feud between Remy Ma and her "Love & Hip-Hop: New York" co-star Brittney Taylor is getting more serious than it seems to be. While the former remained silent since Brittney accused her of punching her in the eye, she recently took to Instagram to share a series of pictures of herself wearing an ankle monitor.
Striking a pose in a black bra underneath a white jacket which she paired with matching pants, Remy looked unbothered despite the fact that she had the electronic device on her ankle. The 38-year-old didn't disclose the reason why she donned the ankle monitor, but fans speculated that it had something to do with the assault allegations.
It was previously reported that the assault incident took place on Tuesday night, April 16 at the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert at Irving Plaza near Union Square, where Remy was booked to perform at the event alongside Fat Joe. Brittney claimed to the cops that she entered the backstage area at the venue and "exchanged words" with Remy about a recent attack on the latter's stepdaughter, Dejanae.
That was when the "All the Way" spitter threw her punch, allegedly accusing Brittney of lying about the attack. "What happened with me and Dej in Miami is I saved her I saved her life, and [Remy] got aggressive [when Brittney told her at Irving]," the star said. "She was like, 'That's not what I heard,' and she punched me in the face."
Brittney then went to hospital for treatment before filing a police report on the following day.
Remy has not been arrested or charged as of now, but a new report suggests that Brittney is currently gearing up to file a lawsuit against the former. According to TMZ, Brittney has requested that the venue of the event and the police preserve the video evidence of the alleged altercation. Police are currently investigating the case.
