DJ Khaled's former protege popped the question to Shelah Marie during a special dinner date at Komodo Miami in Florida on Tuesday, April 23, when he had restaurant bosses play her favourite Beyonce Knowles song, "Formation", as he got down on bended knee, reports TMZ.
The "Bugatti" star also surprised his wife-to-be by bringing out a large group of their loved ones, who were on hand to witness the romantic proposal, which took place as the couple celebrated her birthday.
Self-help guru Marie later took to her Instagram Story timeline to gush about the occasion, sharing footage of herself and her new fiance sitting on a couch as she beamed, "Today was a good day. Today was a great day."
