Prior to this, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex also greeted Queen Elizabeth II, who celebrated her birthday over the weekend, by posting a throwback photo of the monarch on their joint Instagram account.

His parents were not the only ones that were happy for the baby's milestone, as the little royal's uncle and aunt, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, also joined in to celebrate it by leaving a sweet message for the baby boy.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex wrote a comment under an Instagram post on Kensington Palace's account. Responding to the adorable pictures of Prince Louis which were taken by Kate, Meghan and Prince Harry said through their joint account, "Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us. xo." The soon-to-be parents also added an emoji of birthday cake and a balloon.

Meghan and Harry announced their Instagram account on April 2. Named @sussexroyal, the couple wrote, "Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues. We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal."

Soon after it was created, the account broke the record for the fastest time to gain one million followers on the photo-sharing platform. It reached the milestone in just 5 hours and 45 minutes after being created. As of now, it has amassed 5.1 million followers.

Recently, the pair shared some pictures taken during their trip in New Zealand in honor of Earth Day.

"Today is #earthday - an opportunity to learn about, celebrate and continue to safeguard our planet, our home," they wrote in the caption. "The above, Their Royal Highnesses in Rotorua, New Zealand. Of the 170 different species originally planted in the early 1900's, only a handful of species, including these majestic Redwoods, remain today."
