The 'Tunnel Vision' rapper was previously taken into custody after border officials discovered marijuana as well as an undeclared Glock pistol in his car.

AceShowbiz - Troubled rapper Kodak Black has been released on a $20,000 (£15,000) cash bond following his arrest on drugs and weapons charges.

The "Tunnel Vision" MC was taken into custody on Wednesday, April 17, while attempting to enter the U.S. from Canada after border officials stopped his car, which had a temporary California registration, and discovered marijuana on his person, as well as an undeclared Glock pistol in the vehicle.

The news emerged hours after his management officials admitted they had no idea of his whereabouts after he failed to show for a concert in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday night.

The House of Blues gig eventually had to be cancelled at the last minute due to Kodak's absence, leaving ticketholders fuming.

The 21-year-old already has a chequered past, having served time in youth detention centres and faced multiple felony charges, and just this month, he was charged with first degree sexual assault in South Carolina relating to an alleged incident with a high school student.
