'Not everything has to be conventional,' reasons the 'Call My Name' singer as she opens up in a newspaper interview about her love life and possibility of expanding her family.

AceShowbiz - British popstar Cheryl Cole is considering using a sperm donor when she decides she wants a second child.

The" Call My Name" singer is already a mum to two-year-old Bear, whose father is her ex-boyfriend, One Direction star Liam Payne.

And when it comes to potentially expanding her family, unlucky in love Cheryl, who has been married twice, to soccer star Ashley Cole and restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, and split from Liam last year (18), says that if she doesn't find the right man, she will look into other ways to have a child.

"You don't necessarily need to be in a relationship," the 35-year-old tells Britain's Sunday Telegraph newspaper. "I've got a friend who has had two children using donors. Not everything has to be conventional. You can spend ages looking for the right man, waiting for the perfect time to get pregnant, then the right man might turn out to be the wrong man. There are definitely other routes I would consider."

However, love and parenthood is not immediately on Cheryl's agenda, as she is relaunching her solo career after taking a break to become a mum.

On whether she's looking for love, she adds: "No. Not right now - it's so not something I'm even thinking about. I wouldn't rule it out maybe at some point in the distant future. But it's not a priority."

The star says that Bear is already the "love of my life" and movingly describes how it felt to become a parent.

"Everything changed for me from the moment Bear was born," she explains. "My old brain came out of my head, and all of my worries my anxieties and feelings of emptiness went, and a new brain replaced it. I knew the word 'fulfilled' but I'd never known what it felt like."

"Money, fame, success, should have made me feel that way but it never did, which is probably why I looked for it in my relationships with men but that never worked either. I was always angry at myself."

Cheryl's next single, "Let You", is out next month (May 2019).
