AceShowbiz - Waka Flocka Flame was caught up in a shooting incident outside an Atlanta, Georgia recording studio on 4 April, according to new reports.

The rapper, real name Juaquin James Malphurs, was among witnesses who told police officials that three unidentified individuals with weapons fired off several shots into ZAC Recording studios, according to Billboard sources.

One man was reportedly injured and transported to a nearby hospital.

Reporters at local TV news outlet WSB-TV picked up the news story on Friday, April 12, and revealed two men were detained at the studio but later released when police realised they had nothing to do with the attack.

One was cited for possession of marijuana.

Waka Flocka Flame was not injured or cited by police.

No suspects have been arrested.
