AceShowbiz - Emma Stone is tapped to serve as the host for this week's episode of "Saturday Night Live". In a new promo for the episode, the "La La Land" actress is seen being giddy and excited for the gig, but seemingly for an entirely different reason.
The new video, which was released on Thursday, April 11, sees Emma and "SNL" cast member Cecily Strong can't help but freak out after standing close Bangtan Boys a.k.a. BTS members, who will be providing musical entertainment in the episode.
"Hi, Emma Stone. And I'm hosting 'SNL' this week with BTS," Emma says with Cecily shaking next to her. The actress assumes she is freaking out about her, pointing out, "I can feel how excited everyone is to have me here." Cecily then turns to her, acknowledging, "Oh, Emma, hi, you're here."
In the next take, Emma reveals that she, too, is "flipping out in the inside" because she is surrounded by the South Korean heartthrobs. "BTS is all around us!" Strong freaks out.
"The Favourite" actress and Cecily appeare to be more composed in the final take of her announcement. "Look at these sweet beautiful men," Cecily gushes. Emma adds, "Voices of angels. And us, just two women in their thirties doing their best." Before concluding, Cecily says, "Wow, talk about a dream team. Go crazy, America."
Following their highly-anticipated debut on the long-running sketch comedy, the "Fake Love" hitmakers are set to continue their international stadium tour, titled "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself", in May and June.
The episode featuring Emma and BTS will arrive on April 13 at 8.30 P.M. on NBC.
