Admitting that she feels happy 'as long as John is happy,' the 'Total Bellas' star says she's 'still protective' of her ex and warns Shay Shariatzadeh not to break his heart.

AceShowbiz - Nikki Bella has opened up about how she really felt when seeing John Cena with another woman. Following their split last year, the wrestler-turned-actor was spotted for the first time with his new girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh in late March.
Responding to her ex-fiance's new romance, Nikki admitted in the latest episode of "The Bellas Podcast" released on Wednesday, April 10, "When I saw the headline...my stomach went into knots." She added though, "But then when I opened it up and saw the photo it was weird."
The recently retired WWE star went on sharing, "I...you know when you get a text or you see a photo or you see your significant other flirt with someone or something, you know how you get those knots in your stomach that hurts? You either want to poop your pants immediately...or you just have the craziest tummy ache, right? So neither of that happened to me when I saw the photos."
"I'm very happy for him. As long as John is happy, I'm happy," she added. Being a supportive ex-fiancee that she is, Nikki warned John's new girlfriend Shay not to break his heart. Claiming she's "still protective of that man," Bella said that she would "rack-attack her in a heartbeat" if she breaks John's heart.
Nikki said seeing John's pictures with another woman weren't a total shock because the exes have been honest about dating other people. "I was actually just really curious to see who he was going on dinner dates with," she said.
She went on admitting that she "felt bad" for John after their split because the world only really got to see her side of the breakup on "Total Bellas". "It made me sad for John," she said. "And I felt bad for John, with our breakup, I felt bad because I felt like I embarrassed him. I felt like I disappointed him."
Nikki herself has moved on by dating her former "Dancing with the Stars" partner Artem Chigvintsev.
