AceShowbiz - Nearly two years after rumor of Lindsay Lohan hooking up with "Vanderpump Rules" star Jax Taylor resurfaced on the internet, his fiancee has finally broken her silence. Stopping by "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" with Jax himself on Monday night, April 8, Brittany Cartwright was asked which side she believed in, as Lindsay and Jax had conflicting stories.
Initially avoiding the question, she answered, "I mean, I try not to think about it because I love 'Mean Girls', so I don't want to have a bad image of Lindsay Lohan." Jax, who was sitting beside her, then chimed in, "What a terrible question."
Brittany later said that she believed her fiance and co-star, but that didn't mean she had lost her trust on him. "He says it's true," she said. "His friends were there the night [it happened], and they've even said it, so I kind of believe -- I mean, I believe Jax -- 100 percent over Lindsay."
During the episode, Jax also detailed what happened during their alleged hookup, explaining that he actually tried to "block it out." Joking that he felt like he had hit "rock bottom" when Lindsay called him a liar, Jax said that the incident happened between 2006 and 2007. He recalled, "I think she got married like the next day? Or got in a car accident or something? I can't remember!"
Jax first opened up about the alleged hookup back in 2015, but the topic resurfaced after he partied with Lindsay in 2017. In January of this year, "The Parent Trap" star denied that it ever happened, but the hunky star quickly hit back at her and insisted that the hookup was real. "Not that I care, it was over 10 years ago and I am happily engaged, but she's a liar," he said at the time. "My two friends who have nothing to gain were with me the whole night. That's all I will say on this. So you are lying, darlin'."
