In addition to facing drug and gun possession charges, the 'Wipe Me Down' rapper is hit with a charge of failure to maintain lane after being pulled over in the city.

AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz, who was previously known as Lil Boosie, had a run-in with the law. The rapper was arrested in Newman, Georgia on Monday afternoon, April 8 and was charged with drug and firearm possession, according to The Newman Times-Herald.

It all happened after Boosie was pulled over by police after allegedly swerving in and out of traffic in his Dodge Charges, nearly sideswiping another vehicle in the process. When police approached the car and spoke with Boosie, who sat behind the wheel, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana and placed Boosie in the back of the police car.

They then searched the vehicle and found approximately 11 grams of what suspected to be marijuana and a loaded 9mm handgun. There was also a vape pen with suspected THC oil and a bag of a large sum of cash. As if that wasn't bad enough, Boosie admitted to talking on the phone while driving, which is a misdemeanor in Georgia.

Boosie, along with his bodyguard Antonia Allen, was then arrested and charged with possession of marijuana in addition to possession of firearm. The rapper was also hit with a charge of failure to maintain lane. Both men are currently being held in the Coweta County Jail.

It should be noted that this isn't Boosie's first time having trouble with the law. Back in 2010, he was indicted on federal charges for first-degree murder and was charged for possession and intent to distribute narcotics. He was found not guilty of that murder, but was sentenced to eight years after pleading guilty to the drug-related charges. He was released in 2014 and remained in parole until last year.

This arrives just a few weeks after Boosie released his new album "Badazz 3.5.", a follow-up project to his Christmas-themed project "Savage Holidays". The new record includes 15 tracks, including single "Bonnie and Clyde".
