The Captain America depicter almost reveals the ending for his character before the talk turns into a fight between the cast over Paul Rudd's birthday party.

AceShowbiz - Marvel held a press conference for "Avengers: Endgame" on Sunday, April 7 in Los Angeles. Not only hyping up the anticipation for the upcoming film, but also the event reminded fans of the fallen heroes who didn't survive Thanos' snap at the end of "Avengers: Infinity War".

The event remembered the fallen heroes by leaving empty chairs among the stars. Those who attended the press conference were directors Anthony and Joe Russo, stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Karen Gillan, Brie Larson and Danai Gurira, as well as producer Kevin Feige.

Jon Favreau, who hosted the event, addressed those empty seats. "Clearly things look a little different in the post-'Infinity War' Marvel Cinematic Universe," he said. "Post-Snap, there's a few empty seats, so I'd like to welcome back the people that you see here onstage."

While the cast have been very tight-lipped about the fourth and final "Avengers" movie, Evans almost spoiled the movie when speaking about what's in store for his character. "The completion of the arc - that's safe to say, right?" he said, asking for approval from other members of the panel before continuing, "This movie provides an ending to a lot of ...."

He was then cut by co-director Joe Russo, fearing that he might be about to say something he shouldn't. "He's just been through so much," Evans tried to correct himself, while also laughing to himself. As the Captain America depicter stuttered through his words, Favreau tried to get the situation under control by joking, "Let's talk about 'Scott Pilgrim'," referring to Evans' 2010 movie "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World".

The 37-year-old hunk went on talking about his friendship with the cast members, but Downey Jr. jokingly confronted him for not attending Rudd's birthday party the night before. The shenanigans began as they talked back and forth about who came and didn't come to the party, before Favreau moved to ask the next question to Johansson.

In "Endgame", the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos' actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store. The movie is due out on April 26 in theaters worldwide.
