The 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' actor feels that the 'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil' actress 'is continuing to be difficult and won't compromise on anything.'

AceShowbiz - More than two years after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, they have not been legally separated yet. While the "Moneyball" actor is eager to put his past behind him, he's reportedly "frustrated" with his estranged wife as she keeps the divorce prolonged.

"Brad is frustrated with Angelina as their divorce continues to drag on," a source tells HollywoodLife.com. "Brad feels that Angie is continuing to be difficult and won't compromise on anything. Brad is annoyed and feels this divorce should have been settled a long time ago."

Not only costing his time and energy, the prolonged divorce continues to add up his lawyer fees. "While Brad is not interested in saying anything negative about Angie, especially around the kids, he gets upset over Angie's reluctance to settle," the source goes on dishing. "The prolonged battle is continuing to cost him time, energy, and lawyer fees."

It was reported in March that the exes were negotiating a "bifurcated judgment" of their status as a married couple, which means they will both be considered divorced and single before reaching a final settlement. However, this doesn't show progress either, according to the source.

"Brad wants this process to be over so that he and the kids can heal and move on," the source continues to share. "While there is some movement toward bifurcation, nothing has been finalized yet and none of this epic divorce battle has been easy for Brad."

TMZ previously reported that Angelina's lawyer Laura Wasser quit because she felt that the divorce battle got "too venomous," as a source told the site that the "Unbroken" director was "fueled with anger and has gotten ridiculously unreasonable."

While their divorce process seems to face a lot of roadblocks, they have reportedly put aside their differences for the sake of their children. A source tells E! News, "They've both decided to try and put their differences aside and to do whatever they can to raise the kids in the healthiest environment possible." And while they still don't see eye-to-eye on everything, "they have had to find ways to compromise."

To help them maintain the calm situation, "they continue to go to therapy weekly and having a third party watch them interact and provide feedback has been helpful," the so-called insider reveals, adding that "Brad is doing the best he can" to compromise with Angelina, because all he wants is "to have a relationship with the kids and to make joint decisions on what's important. He doesn't want be shut out or shut down. It's not fair to the kids and they both know that."
