Nipsey was shot multiple times in front of his Marathon Clothing store in South Los Angeles on Sunday, March 31. He was pronounced dead at the hospital after paramedics performed CPR on the scene and during the ambulance ride. He was 33.

The suspected shooter, Eric Holder, was arrested on Tuesday in the Bellflower area. Los Angeles police Chief Michel Moore told reporters Tuesday morning that Nipsey and the suspected killer knew each other and the shooting could have been fueled by a personal dispute.

According to MTO News, Eric will likely blame his insanity for his violent act. He reportedly told police that he's insane and had no memory from the last 48 hours. He turned into a Los Angeles mental hospital, where he was apprehended by the authorities. A source says that Eric indeed has had a history of mental health issue and received treatment in a facility in the past.
