The frequent political cartoonist shares a drawing of the Italian wartime fascist and his mistress Claretta Petacci's dead bodies hanging upside down from a rafter.

AceShowbiz - Jim Carrey spent the weekend by enganging in a Twitter war with Benito Mussolini's granddaughter Alessandra Mussolini. The granddaughter of Italy's wartime fascist slammed the comedian after the latter shared on Twitter a graphic drawing of Benito and his mistress, Claretta Petacci.

The drawing featured their dead bodies hanging upside down from a rafter. "If you’re wondering what fascism leads to, just ask Benito Mussolini and his mistress Claretta," he captioned the painting. That didn't take long before Alessandra came at the "Dumb and Dumber" actor and frequent political cartoonist.

"You are a bastard," the 56-year-old member of the European Parliament blasted at Jim. Someone came at the actor's defense, writing, "I think you're confusing Jim Carrey with your murderous grandfather," to which Alessandra replied, "Or maybe with some of your family...."

Alessandra apparently was not done slamming the actor. She uploaded a series of images America's troubled past. "And now @JimCarrey draw this other ...," she captioned a picture of Native Americans standing in front of Mount Rushmore. Another post saw her asking Jim to draw Rosa Parks, the black civil rights activist who refused to sit in the back of the bus in the segregated south of the 1950s.

In another post, Alessandra also uploaded an image of atom bomb mushroom cloud and wrote, "Hi @JimCarrey now draw this for us."

Additionally, Alessandra attacked the "Bruce Almighty" actor for his drawings of President Donald Trump. "President @realDonaldTrump doesn't have to worry about poor @JimCarrey politica attacks; his drawings are only dirty paper," she tweeted.

Jim's art about Benito is based on the real life deaths of the political figure and Petacci after being captured by communist partisan fighters. Alongside other key figures in the Italian fascist leadership, the two were executed by firing squad on April 28, 1945.

Jim has yet to respond on the disses.
