AceShowbiz - At such a young age, Juice WRLD surely has a promising future in the hip-hop industry. Beginning his career as a bubbling SoundCloud rapper, the musician has now become one of the most greatest rising stars with a lot of accomplishment. For instance, he recently scored his first No. 1 album on Billboard 200 with his sophomore effort "Death Race for Love", proving that he isn't a one-hit wonder.
Released on March 8 via Interscope Records, "Death Race for Love" spent two weeks atop the chart. The record sold 165,000 units in its debut week, before racking up an additional 74,000 units in the following week. In addition to that, the album received generally favorable reviews from music critics, with Danny Schwartz saying that the album "succeeded in its most fundamental mission, which was to prove that 'Lucid Dreams' was not a fluke."
What's more, the thing that makes Juice WRLD special than any other rappers is the fact that most of his hit songs are actually freestyle. "Certain people freestyle for a while and then run out of things to say," Hit-Boy said of the rapper. "I feel like he's one of the first people I've worked with personally who never runs out." Furthermore, head of A&R Steven Victor thought that Juice WRLD needed a Grammy for his talent and predicted that he would be as successful as Drake.
Juice WRLD is currently hitting the road for his joint tour with Nicki Minaj, "The Nicki Wrld Tour". The European leg of the trek began on February 21 in Munich, Germany and is set to wrap up on March 28 in Geneva, Switzerland. Besides touring, the "Lucid Dreams" rapper is currently working on a joint album with Ski Mask the Slump God entitled "Evil Twins".
