AceShowbiz - It looks like fans are going to expect a mini-me of Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels anytime soon. Even though the model has yet to be pregnant, she recently revealed that the engaged couple is currently in the process of having a child. Erica made the bombshell revelation during an Instagram Live session on Thursday evening, March 28.
The "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" beauty appeared to be in Jamaica during the stream, telling her friend that she had been using sea moss, a supposed age-old Caribbean fertility concoction for couples who are trying to have a child. "I've had sea moss," she said. " 'Cause you know we're trying to have a baby, so we're putting it inside our drinks and stuff."
Fans who watched the live were quick to give their blessings, hoping that Erica would be conceived soon. "This is amazing especially when two grown adults want the same thing. Blessings to them both," one fan said. "That's gonna be a beautiful baby. Congrats to you two!" another added, while one other wrote, "I love this. I'm glad y'all happy you deserve to be!"
Erica and Safaree announced their romance in November last year, before the rapper getting down on one knee and proposing to her on Christmas Eve. Days after the proposal, Safaree suggested that the couple had already set their wedding date, though they have yet to make it public.
The "Scared Famous" star recently released a new song entitled "No Regular Girl" and its music video which were dedicated to his fiancee. The visuals appeared to be filmed during their stay in Jamaica, with Erica playing Safaree's love interest. The couple was seen in the video flaunting their PDAs, as one scene featured them heavily making out in the shower.
