Oscar winners Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand are in talks to team up onscreen for a new adaptation of William Shakespeare's "Macbeth".
The "Fargo" star's husband, Joel Coen, will direct from his own adaptation, according to Deadline.
The play first hit the big screen in 1948, with Orson Welles as the titular character. Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard starred in the most recent version, released in 2015.
