Titled 'Free Uzi', the three-minute song finds the 'New Patek' rapper getting candid about his personal issues.

AceShowbiz - Lil Uzi Vert is not retiring from music, after all. After he announced that he would be stepping away from music earlier this year, the rapper has just released a new song called "Free Uzi" along with its music video accompaniment, much to fans' delight.

The three-minute song features Uzi getting candid about his personal issues, such as his tax situation and how he owed $3 million. "Had to get my business together/ I had $3 million in taxes," he raps over the beat. "I got it all off on this level/ They said it's $3 million that's missing/ I ain't say nothing, I stay level."

The music video for the song itself finds the "New Patek" rapper delivering the verses inside a convenience store as well as a dark hallway. The visuals was directed by Qasquiat.

Fans are naturally overjoyed by the release of the new song. "Uzi is back, which means I can finally enjoy music again," one fan commented as another still couldn't believe that the spitter unveiled a new song, "Is it really true, has the goat returned?!?" One other gushed, "His back guys. These is the best thing that's happen in 2019."

"Free Uzi" can only be streamed on SoundCloud and Tidal, though it remains unknown if the song will be available to stream on major services such as Spotify and Apple Music. Even though Uzi released the song himself, a representative for Atlantic Records referred to the song's release as a "leak" in an email.

The song marks the first song that Uzi released ever since he announced his retirement in January. "I wanna take the time out to say I thank each and every one of my supports but I'm done with music I deleted everything I wanna be normal... I wanna wake up in 2013," he said at the time. "Thank you love you."
